Navigate your cancer journey with hope
and a personalized plan of action.
I am dedicated to helping patients achieve a level of molecular insight that enables them to overcome life-threatening cancers.
Most of the history of cancer medicine has been working in the molecular dark light (or in extremely dim light) with few genomic markers. In the protocol-centric cancer therapy, all patients are assumed to have the same disease. Treatment options tend to be limited to “evidence-based” medicine from clinical trials, which were formulated according to the one-size-fits-all-approach. And only at the end of the study do we discover that the benefit of a specific therapy are widely distributed with some getting a major benefit and others none at all.
But as we turn up the light of molecular diagnosis, we can see the functional organization of cancer with a clarity that has never been feasible before.
I call this “practicing medicine with the eyes wide open.”
Philosophy:
Every patient is unique: I believe the "one-size-fits-all" approach to cancer treatment is imperfect and largely antiquated. Through comprehensive molecular profiling, I gain a deep understanding of your individual cancer's unique biology, allowing design a treatment plan tailored to your specific disease.
Building trust and understanding: Clear communication can lead to patient empowerment. I strive to explain complex medical concepts in understandable terms and answer your questions thoroughly, enabling patients to understand the rationale for treatment recommendations enabling participation in treatment decisions.
Staying ahead of the curve: I am actively involved in clinical research and program development, ensuring patients have access to the latest advancements in cancer therapy.
I offer a unique approach to cancer treatment
focused on deep molecular profiling
and personalized, patient-centric therapy design
based on Network-Targeting Combination Therapy (NTCT).
THE IDEAL PATIENT for a molecular oncology consultation is
someone who:
Has been diagnosed with a malignant disease for which standard therapy is either unsatisfactory or non-curative.
Has a strong desire and is open-minded enough to explore novel treatment strategies, including those outside the standard of care.
Wants to bring latest technologies to bear in order to achieve a superior outcome.
Understands that some of the recommended tests or treatments may not be covered by insurance and may require additional investigation and advocacy.
Values open communication and collaboration in making informed treatment decisions.
and someone who is:
Seeking medical insight and partnership to achieve a deeper understanding of their cancer to identify treatment options beyond standard diagnostic methods.
Open to exploring non-standard treatment options based on their individual molecular profile.
Proactive participants in their healthcare journey, eager to discuss treatment options and ask questions.
Willing to make a research project out of their specific cancer in order to overcome it.
